ROCK A BYE Fort Knox Woman Signs Publishing Contract
Fort Knox author Adie Bishop signs publishing contract for first novella, ROCK A BYE.

FORT KNOX, KY, August 20, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Adie Bishop has made a hobby of writing since she was a young child. She has previously published four books, a poetry collection titled Search 26, a short story anthology titled Tie Rose...and Other Works, a novelette titled Dancing with Strangers, and another novelette, titled Eros (available free on her myspace blog).

Now comes her fifth (publicly available) book and first novella, titled Rock A Bye, which is being published by the publishing company PublishAmerica.

Adie Bishop was born April Coleman in Raleigh County, West Virginia. Born weighing only one pound, eleven ounces, Adie is one of the last of her generation to have been diagnosed with retrolental fibroplasias (ROP, retinopathy of prematurity), and due to such had her right eye enucleated at one and a half years of age. Unknown to most, she is legally blind and unable to drive.

She is also an indigo.

She was raised in the rural coal camp of Whitby, West Virginia and attended the local schools in Coal City, West Virginia, obtaining good grades throughout school, various awards and honors, including being rewarded the only art pin in her entire graduating junior high class.

She attended Concord College (now Concord University) in Athens, West Virginia, studying English Literature with an emphasis on writing, and art. She left Concord, got married, divorced and bought her own home, and then remarried. She currently resides in Fort Knox, Kentucky with her husband, a Captain in the U.S. Army, their daughter, her mother-in-law and four spoiled cats. She is also a member of the Romance Writers of America.

How far would you go for love?

Tina has her life planned out down to the letter: Go to college, start a career, have a life. Falling in love with an attractive lead singer of a rock band was never part of the plan.

Until now.

Noah Bitte is the lead singer for the prominent rock band Azrael's Candy. Hot on the music scene, it seems there's no place to go but up for this talented musician. When the band suddenly explodes onto the music scene, Noah and Tina are thrown headfirst into a world of fortune and fame. It's a roller coaster ride of sex, drugs, and rock and roll, and while Noah is trapped in the front seat, his wife and baby girl are left to stand afar and watch the derailment.

Can love save them before it's too late, or is there a limit to how far love can go?

Bishop is an ninth time author and resides on Fort Knox with her husband, a Captain in the United States Army, their daughter, her mother-in-law, and four spoiled cats. Her works can be found on lulu.com, CreateSpace.com, and Amazon.com.
