A Simple bite of The Big Apple: DotLoop opens first East Coast office in NYC Metro, led by 30-year industry vet Jim Cull
DotLoop lands foothold in Greater NY Metro, New England markets, as Cincinnati tech pioneer pursues national expansion campaign.
FORT THOMAS, KY, May 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Just a scant few months after the first DotLoop invasion of Manhattan - as featured guest on the FOX Business Network Happy Hour program, live from Wall Street, in January - DotLoop is opening a New York sales office under the guidance of Jim Cull, a 30+year veteran of the real estate industry.
Cull is a licensed New York State real estate broker and Florida mortgage broker. He's a lifelong sales and management executive, virtually all of which was earned in the real estate, relocation and mortgage banking industries.
At DotLoop (www.dotloop.com), Jim will be implementing sales strategies as the company's first Account Executive along the East Coast.
According to G. Austin Allison, co-founder and CEO of DotLoop, Cull was hired based on "stellar professional accomplishments and solid contacts within the real estate and mortgage banking industries. Jim's got it all. He's extremely knowledgeable, a people person, and one of the most tech-savvy brokers we've met."
Jim most recently served as National Sales Manager with the Homebuyers Financial Network of Miami Lakes, Florida.
"I am tremendously excited about my affiliation with DotLoop." Cull said.
"In my 32 years in the industry, I've seen four other technologies that, when implemented, were able to change the way business was conducted: Electronic MLS, Fax Machines, Mobile Phones and The Internet," Cull said.
"I believe Paperless Transactions will be the fifth, and I'm convinced that DotLoop is the company that will be the agent of change that will allow that happen," Cull said.
Cull anticipates the initial adoption of DotLoop will occur rapidly as brokers, agents and consumers are able to take advantage of its components, and as adoption expands transactions will become "green" and paperless.
"Our company is a bridge to the future, and for those who are ready to embrace the future today, we are ready for them NOW!" Cull says.
Cull is directing all DotLoop sales efforts throughout the Northeastern U.S., but his position does not limit him.
"Although Jim will be focused on the Northeast, he has been working within the real estate industry for three decades and has made and maintained countless contacts along the way," Allison added.
"His exposure to so many facets of real estate, lending, technology, sales, and marketing make him the ideal representative for DotLoop as we begin our quest to make Green Transactions a reality, and not just a possibility, all across the country," Allison said.
NATIVE NEW YORKER LEADING FIRST EAST COAST OFFICE FOR DOTLOOP
Cull is a native New Yorker, having grown up on Long Island and graduated from the City University of New York-Queens College.
He is a member of the National Association of REALTORS and the Westchester-Putnam Association of REALTORS and the Westchester-Putnam MLS.
Cull has honed his unique perspective by developing expertise in a wide range of real estate-related issues and assignments such as: relocation, franchise sales, network management, mortgage lending, real estate technology, marketing and e-commerce. He's worked at Homeequity (now CARTUS), Coldwell Banker Real Estate Affiliates, Prudential Home Mortgage, Prudential Realty Services Corp., Cendant Mortgage, Improvenet, Fidelity Information Services and Adigida Solutions. He's also a U.S. Army veteran.
In the business world, Cull has compiled an impressive track record of success stories based on innovations in technology:
- he's a co-founder of Shelter Funding, which joined with First Boston Capital Group to launch Shelternet, the mortgage industry's first network of electronically-connected firms;
- while at Prudential, he opened and managed the Prudential Home Center in Connecticut, a web precursor that created technology to consolidate listings on a touch-screen monitor.
APPLIED TECHNOLOGY WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING - AGAIN
"For the true real estate professional, this is an incredible time to be in business. We aim to be an invaluable resource to brokers and agents looking to leverage technology as a way to enhance their service capabilities, and anticipate the needs of the consumer today and in the years to come," Cull said.
"What better way to effect change, in an industry that's often resisted it, than to integrate a "Green" solution into your practice?"
"Save time...save money...save the environment. With DotLoop, it's paperless," he concluded.
Allison said he, and the rest of the DotLoop sales team, will be tapping Cull's expertise and network of contacts as the first online collaborative environment for real estate extends its reach nationwide. DotLoop representatives are currently negotiating agent, broker and real estate association deals in 30 states across the U.S.
"New York is in good hands with Jim Cull. We extend him and the entire New York metropolitan area a most heartfelt welcome," Allison said. "We look forward to Keeping It Simple with all of our new friends along the East Coast."
