Northern Kentucky Roller Girls Set to Make Home Debut
Black-n-Bluegrass Roller Girls Open Home Season May 22

COVINGTON, KY, May 14, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Black-n-Bluegrass Roller Girls are excited to begin this year's home season as an Apprentice affiliate of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). BBRG joins the ranks of more than 100 all-female, skater-owned and operated leagues nationwide that have united to create the fastest-growing women's sport in the United States.

This season promises to be an exciting one for local roller derby fans, as each and every home bout is a double header. Fans will get to enjoy twice the blocks, twice the hits and twice the fishnets at the Florence Fundome in Florence. Each night of hard-hitting fun will start at 7 p.m., with entertainment between bouts.

The first home bout - in grand roller derby tradition - has a theme. Join Northern Kentucky's own Black-n-Bluegrass Roller Girls for "Mother, May I?" on May 22nd, where they will take on the Roller Girls of Central Kentucky and Vette City.
