Pitch the Publisher - La Grange! is accepting reservations for Publisher tables at the first annual Pitch the Publisher event in La Grange, Kentucky.
Saturday, November 19, Pitch the Publisher - La Grange! will offer potential authors a unique opportunity to present their book ideas to publishing companies. Area Publishers are encouraged to register now to participate.

LOUISVILLE, KY, September 11, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Otherworld Publications, LLC in collaboration with La Venture Station is accepting Publisher Registration for Pitch the Publisher - La Grange!

Authors will have ten minutes to Pitch; then have fifteen minutes for suggestions and feedback on how to develop book ideas or manuscripts for publication. At the time of registration, the author will submit a short bio, synopsis, and first chapter. These items will be forwarded to the Publisher of choice for review prior to the pitch session.

The cost of the table is $100 and will include lunch and snacks, a 3'x1.6' banner and stand you can keep with your logo and company name, and advertising. It is an appointment only event with up to 20 authors per publisher. Each publisher will have a spot on the website for their logo, what they are accepting submissions for, and a link to their website. Authors will choose which publisher they want an appointment with and a schedule will be maintained and communicated with the publisher.

It is up to each Publisher whether or not to offer a publishing contract. Pitching does not guarantee publication.
